Hello! I’m Caitie.

I’m a writer in southeastern Nebraska. I worked in higher education for a decade—teaching composition, coaching competitive intercollegiate speech, and running a college writing center—and now I work in communications. My master’s degree in creative nonfiction and doctorate in composition are both from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln. I live a dreamy suburban life with my young family and enjoy British murder mysteries, memoirs, design shows, crafts, and coloring.
